This OgilvyOne project for the Yahoo! Summer Movie Guide is pretty fun. In search of clicks and glee, we figured fuck it, let's make a spoof trailer for the site. With only a bunch of still assets of the stars to work with, it required a lot of stock and homegrown plates, but the style is collage-y enough to carry it off.

When the movie comes to an end, some dynamic Flash madness brings in XML data with current movie hottism on the marquee, so the user can click through to relevant content before being compelled to buy tickets.

Sir Blazing Lazer, who is a gentleman and a scholar, created the soundtrack and we had the Yahoo! Movies guy do us a VO, including a bunch of outtakes that were embedded in the ads as easter eggs for extra hilarity.
